I’ve long been convinced that the central problem in the contemporary Church is our weakness and willingness to compromise in enforcing discipline, unity of doctrine, and devotional practices. This guy explains why that is.

Very good. My own secular experience: the company I work for used to give away training, and would get last minute cancellations and people popping in and out for phone calls – generally showing that they held the training to be of little value – it was free! I started charging serious money for training – and we got *more* people signed up, and they paid attention.
Funny that. The owners, a couple computer geeks, never did quite figure it out.
Now to pick up my cross and follow,.
