The Statler Brothers were not actually brothers named ‘Statler’; two of them were brothers named ‘Reid’ (Harold and Don), while the others weren’t related. The name came from a tissue box.

But, from what I can gather, they’re one of the more revered groups in Gospel and classic Country music. In any case, I really like what I’ve heard of them. Here are some of my favorites:
